  10.   This is another PLIP device driver. PLIP means Parallel Line Internet
  11.   Protocol. Originally based upon the plip.device released by Oliver
  12.   Wagner and Michael Balzer, this version has been completely rewritten.

  16.    * Option to ommit CRC checks
  17.  
  18.    * Much better configurable, especially with regard to slow systems
  19.  
  20.    * Major code cleanup, including the removal of assembler fragments,
  21.      globals, errors

  23.    * Several protocol stacks may use magPLIP simultaneously
