  10.   This is another PLIP device driver. PLIP means Parallel Line Internet
  11.   Protocol. Originally based upon the plip.device released by Oliver
  12.   Wagner and Michael Balzer, this version has been completely rewritten.

  18.    * Much better configurable, especially with regard to slow systems

  20.    * Major code cleanup, including the removal of assembler fragments,
